With club in hand, hopefully in the middle of one of our lush fairways, it’s hard to believe that you are so close to the centre of Cardiff. Very little of the outside world is visible from within our tree-lined course. Equally, you can drive through the suburbs of north-east Cardiff and never imagine that our wonderful golf course even exists.
Each hole has its own individual character with many challenges provided by the subtle slopes, a wandering stream and large mature trees. Our visitors are always most complimentary on the condition of the course, in particular the greens. The standard and status of the course and of the Golf Club itself has been recognised by the number of regional and national competitions that have been held at the Club. This year, it is the turn of the Welsh Girls' Championship to be played at Cardiff. In 2007 and 2008 the Club hosted the Welsh Men's Professional Championship for 2 years in succession and the event will be played once again at Cardiff on the 26th and 27th of September 2012. In 2010 the Welsh Men's Senior Open Championship was played at Cardiff.
We are most fortunate to have a challenging course in a beautiful parkland setting, yet only 2 miles from the centre of our capital city. Visitors are always welcome from a small group of friends up to large scale golf days involving well over a hundred players. Don't hesitate to contact the office to organise a great day’s golf that you will remember for years to come.

The course photographs were taken on a Charity Day in the summer of 2011 and on a sunny October morning a few months later when the autumn colours were coming to the fore. The helpful playing tips are from our former Head Professional Terry Hanson.
